Painting Process

INTERIOR SERVICE STEPS

INTERIOR SERVICE STEPS

INTERIOR SERVICE STEPS

INTERIOR

STEP 1: Free Painting Consulation

We will assess and communicate what the needs of your home are during your onsite free painting consultation and estimate.

STEP 2: Detailed Quote

We will provide you with a comprehensive quote detailing the job scope, requirements and price.

STEP 3: Color Consultation

Upon request, we will assist you during your color selection journey.

STEP 4: Prepartion, Protecting Your Home

We will prepare the area for the work by putting down drop cloths and masking off areas that are not getting painted.

  1. Remove any wall hangings, pictures, or other decorations.
  2. Repair holes, dents, or other imperfections in the walls. We use spackle or joint compound to fill in holes and sand them smooth.
  3. Clean the walls to remove dirt, dust, and any other debris.
  4. Prime the walls if necessary. If we are painting over a dark color or a glossy surface, we may want to apply a coat of primer first. This will help the paint adhere better and give you a more even finish.
  5. Protect the floor and any other surfaces that are not getting painted. In addition to drop cloths, you may want to use painter sundries to cover outlets, switch plates, and other fixtures.

Once you have prepared the area and cleaned the surfaces, you're ready to start painting!

PAINT AND EQUIPMENT

  1. Only premium quality paints are used. The type of tool that we use to apply paint can depend on a variety of factors, including the type of surface being painted, the type of paint being used.
  2. Brushes are generally best for small, detailed areas or for applying paint to rough or textured surfaces. They are also good for applying paint to corners and edges.
  3. Rollers are generally faster and more efficient for larger, flat surfaces. They are also good for applying paint to smooth surfaces.
  4. Sprayers are generally the fastest and most efficient way to apply paint, but they can be messier and require more cleanup.

CLEAN UP

  1. Once the painting is complete, we carefully remove any masking tape and papoer or other materials that we used to protect areas that were not being painted, while being careful to avoid damaging the newly painted surfaces.

INSPECTION

Together we will do a final walkthrough of your project to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the work that was completed. This can be a good opportunity to address any final questions or concerns.

Arvada Home

Susan T . We have hired the DAECO crew twice for interior painting and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. What makes them stand out is that they are not only personable and responsive, but their work is excellent, and they exhibit a great deal of care and concern for your property and personal comfort while they are in your home. No detail is too small for them to address and they frequently will go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction without being asked or adding on to your bill. Great contractors are hard to find, so when I find a good one, I like to share! Highly recommend.
